Actress Sasha Pieterse Hosts Our Pretty Pink Beauty Night

During the month of October, we joined with Secrets of the Islands to launch a limited-edition body-care line called the “Pretty Pink Body Collection.” The line benefitted the Dubin Breast Center of the Tisch Cancer Institute at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Tiato restaurant in Santa Monica kindly helped us throw an intimate evening honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month and celebrate the collaboration. The very talented, Sasha Pieterse, of the hit show “Pretty Little Liars,” hosted the event.

The Menu

The menu for the evening featured Tiato’s Chef Crispy Flatbread, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Chicken Potstickers and more. A portion of proceeds from all menu items were donated to the Dubin Breast Center.

The Venue

The evening took place at Tiato Kitchen + Bar + Garden in Santa Monica. It’s a wonderful lunch spot featuring food that is good, as it is healthy. The space opens during the evening for special events.

The Night

The Pretty Pink Beauty Bar was stocked with the Secret of the Islands special “Pretty Pink Body Collection.” Guests were able to sample, smell and take home the product.

Information on the Dubin Breast Center was displayed throughout Tiato. The Center provides optimal breast services to patients regardless of their ability to pay; and they have an in-house team of psychiatrist, psychologists, social workers, a nutritionist, and massage therapists.

Sparkling ICE, naturally favored water in Pink Grapefruit was offered to guests and complimented the grapefruit scented, Secret of the Islands “Pretty Pink Body Collection.”

Guests enjoyed vanilla cupcakes with pink buttercream frosting and raspberry filling, topped with signature pink ribbons. Dessert was provided by the award-winning bakers at Yummy Cupcakes.

Sweet Juicy Things provided guests with an extra special treat – chocolate covered strawberries decked in sparkly pink glitter.

Special thanks to US Weekly Magazine for helping us continue to raise awareness with inclusion of the night in their Celebrity News round-up.
